There are two machines, two photographs, two drawings, one box, one relief, two monotypes, one collage, an object sewn together from banknotes, a photocopy on translucent mylar, two sheets of typestract, one print and one airmail painting. The London Biennale 2000 runs from May 1 to August 31. Its founder, David Medalla, describes it as a“do-it-yourself, participatory” Biennale, open to any artist anywhere in the world, and having an “intimate” scale.
